The Lantern Festival is celebrated on the 15th day of the first month in the Lunar Calendar.
On this night, streets and alleys are illuminated with vibrant and colorful lanterns. For generations,
people have enjoyed lantern displays, solved riddles, and eating yuanxiao (sweet glutinous rice balls)
as part of the festival’s traditions.  Traditionally, children carry paper lanterns at night to celebrate
the festival. One of the most important activities is lantern appreciation, while solving lantern riddles,
also known as "lantern tigers," remains a beloved tradition.As night falls, dazzling fireworks light up
​the sky, adding to the joyful celebrations of the Lantern Festival.
